"I signed up for Michael's course because of his wealth of real-world experiences working with different enterprises as a consultant. I was also intrigued by how IBM uses design thinking to approach projects and establish partnerships. "Michael turned complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner. The class fostered a collaborative and inclusive environment, encouraging active participation and discussions among us as students from all walks of life. With assistance from learning facilitators, I was able to ask questions whenever I need help in class. Final hands-on project allowed me to apply the knowledge gained and develop a real-world case in portfolio to showcase my abilities."

"I continue to work in a similar domain after participating in the course where I can apply the framework I learned in the program to run meetings with stakeholders and my teammates. They all find my sessions much more efficient and engaging. There are two frameworks I regularly use: "Hopes and Fears" and "Feedback Grid," both of which I learned during the course. "Hopes and Fears" help me understand if there will be any potential pushback or issues from stakeholders when launching something new. Our team always receives constructive feedback from teammates and stakeholders when running a retrospective session using the "Feedback Grid." I want to emphasize that you may not be able to apply everything you learn from the course directly to the workplace. However, there are always two to three things that can be used, and they can have a significant impact on your work."

"The biggest takeaway for me was to never underestimate my worth. Our diverse backgrounds and experiences make us unique and add value to any company. I also learned the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, constantly iterating, and striving to improve my designs and portfolio. Michael provided invaluable guidance and advice, particularly during the challenging process of pivoting and breaking into a new career. Additionally, I learned the importance of having a point of view and confidently sharing it. Our diverse backgrounds give us a unique perspective that can bring immense value to the table."

"The experience was fruitful. It gave me comprehensive learning from Design thinking, real-world projects, stakeholder management to storytelling. It’s not only about learning some theory but also gives us a taste of how to balance stakeholder expectations and convince them with our best preparation. The biggest takeaway is I learnt how to challenge and rethink a problem before developing a solution. It is a prominent mindset that enables me to create experiences that bring value to people."
