GROUP CLASS ARRANGEMENT

Sick Leave Policy

In the event that you need to cancel a class due to illness, please notify us at least 2 hours in advance. To arrange a make-up class, you will be required to provide a valid doctor's proof. Our community team will make every effort to accommodate a suitable make-up session based on the availability of other time slots. For detailed instructions on the make-up class procedure, please refer to the next page. \

Personal Leave Policy

If your child will be absent from a session due to personal reasons, kindly inform our team at least 2 days in advance. Our community team will make every effort to arrange a make-up session, taking into consideration the availability of alternative time slots. For more information on the make-up class procedure, please refer to the next page.

Holiday Leave Policy

Should your child be absent for more than a week during school holidays, please inform our team in writing at least 1 month in advance. Along with a Leave of Absence Letter, kindly submit proof of your trip outside Hong Kong (e-ticket) to our community team. Upon approval of your leave application, we will create additional schedules for your child to attend make-up classes at no additional cost.

No Show

If you fail to attend a scheduled class and we are unable to reach you after 30 minutes from the scheduled start time, the class will be considered canceled. Unfortunately, no make-up class will be offered in such cases.

Make Up Class Procedures

  • To arrange a make-up class, the student must inform us at least 48 hours in advance of either their original class start time or the rescheduled class start time, whichever comes earlier. This allows us to accommodate their request effectively.
  • For the make-up class, students have the flexibility to reschedule their original regular time slot to one of our other available time slots, depending on availability. Alternatively, if available, they may choose to join the class online.
  • In the event that the existing make-up class schedule does not work out, please note the following options:
    • No free make-up class will be provided.
  • Students will have access to the class notes, allowing them to review the missed material independently.
  • As an alternative, students have the following choices:
    • They can arrive 15 minutes before the next class to seek clarification on any missed topics. This option is available free of charge, subject to the availability of the instructor's schedule.
  • They can opt for a 1:1 make-up session, which can be scheduled flexibly. Please note that this option requires a top-up fee of HKD 400. The dedicated one-hour session will cover the missed material thoroughly.

Preface, at all material times, shall not be liable for any items or properties being lost or stolen at any of Preface’s locations for any reason whatsoever. Student agrees to be solely responsible for taking care of his/her own personal belongings at any of Preface’s locations.
